The client was a world leader in its sector with two connected commercial objectives. It wanted to increase the number of franchisees within its network, while also creating new business opportunities that could support both existing franchise owners and newly appointed franchisees.

The challenge was not simply generating interest. The client required a rigorous, structured and timely process for assessing prospective franchisees, taking them from initial enquiry and meeting through to selection, contract signing, training and readiness to begin operating under the franchise model.

At the same time, the client saw an opportunity to expand its contract cleaning capability into the hospitality sector. However, it did not have the specialist hotel experience required to confidently pursue, win and operationally deliver hospitality tenders.

Four Continents managed a four-stage franchise selection process designed to give the client clarity, structure and pace. Prospective franchisees were taken through a defined journey that supported assessment, communication, decision-making and progression towards contract signing and training.

Alongside the franchise recruitment activity, Four Continents supported the client’s hotel division in applying for and delivering tenders for contract cleaning services. This work was managed from initial invitation through to contract signing, creating commercial opportunities that could then be passed to franchisees to deliver.
